It's really nice how the picture has one tone throughout although there are two different elements involved and the row of lights around the Battleship provides just the right highlight. And though the picture is titled 'Battleship At Large', it has a very quiet serene touch to it.
I am no expert but just wondering if placing the horizon towards the bottom 1/3rd of the picture would have evened the tone out further since the dark water at the bottom wouldn't have been there and there would have been more of the dark blue-gray sky to match the color of water just below the ship...unless of course the central placement of the horizon is intentional :)

@Anupama: Thanks for your insightful comments, Anu :) Your suggestion is well-taken. The photo surely could have looked better that way. However, the thing to notice is that the exposure time on this photograph was 2 sec. So, I needed a stable surface to prevent camera-shake. The support which was available was the concrete seawall and so the vertical disposition was constrained by that. Of course, I could have tried tilting the camera, but I guess I never tried that.
